Irrigation Farmers Network is a farmer-driven, not-for-profit, independent research and extension organisation. Our purpose is to provide the latest research and information on irrigated farm systems and to connect growers with local, state, and national research and extension services.
By collaborating with key research and extension organisations, as well as funding bodies, we ensure that farmers across the region have access to cutting-edge information on irrigated grain, fodder and forage production systems. This enables them to make informed decisions, adopt best practices, and drive profitable and sustainable farm systems.

Vision

A commercially competitive and sustainable mixed farming and cropping sector that can confidently use best practice irrigation to respond flexibly and rapidly to market demands in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.

To improve the profitability and long-term viability of mixed farmers and croppers in the irrigation areas of northern Victoria and southern New South Wales, through practical research, development and extension that leads to best practice.
