IFN was successful in our proposal with GRDC to do a three-year trial looking at faba bean canopy architecture as part of the National Growers Network - Grain Adopt Initiative.
C4 Milk Project Extended
Funding was approved in April 2026 to extend the C4 Milk project to include three more growing seasons to research the crop-crop effects (quality, yield, agronomic and environmental) in forage production.

Irrigation Farmers Network receives GRDC infrastructure grant
The Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) has announced the Queensland and NSW recipients of infrastructure grants delivered in 2023 to boost capacity in grains research, development and extension (RD&E). The grants are part of a $20 million national investment program to build Australia’s long-term grains research capacity and support the enduring profitability of the nation’s grain growers.
