Natural capital and its significance in emerging markets is a hot topic at the moment. What is Natural Capital? What does it mean for my farm businesses? What are the opportunities and what are the risks?
That’s why the North Central CMA are hosting a Natural Capital Forum, set to take place on Thursday 13 June in Bendigo. This forum is an opportunity for farmers, land managers, and experts to explore the emerging opportunities of Natural Capital and understand its role in agriculture and land management in the future.

Centre pivot and lateral move (CPLM) irrigation systems have the potential to deliver benefits including improved yield, reduced labour and increased water use efficiency. This course outlines the important design considerations to achieve these benefits as well as the ongoing maintenance, monitoring and operation required for system longevity.
This course is for farmers considering installation of a CPLM irrigation system or those with an existing system aiming to optimise performance and management.

This event brings together farmers, agriculture and energy consultants, peak bodies and Government representatives to share stories of on-farm renewables, their business case and discuss what’s driving the transformation of energy use in agriculture.
Large scale solar and wind developments present opportunities for farmers and regional communities if planned well with meaningful engagement around benefit sharing. These topics plus combining farming and solar, termed agrivoltaics, also forms part of the yearly Conference program.
